Street Symphony

“Street Symphony” was a group photography exhibition organized by the Shiraz Artist Group and curated by Majid Bazaei. This exhibition included 24 photographs by 19 photographers who focus on street photography in Shiraz through photographers’ lenses and opened on 5  January 2024 at 18:00 at Sarvenaz Gallery in Shiraz.

Shiraz Artist Group, with experience in holding exhibitions such as “Creative Portrait” and “Immortal Moment,” has held its third group project, this time with “Street Symphony.”

 Focusing on street photography, urban life, and depicting people in daily situations, this exhibition tried to frame a different image of the people of Shiraz.

The artworks were displayed in color and black and white with dimensions of 40 x 55 cm. The photos were matte printed, Passepartout, and painted in a white frame. The main goal of this project was to create an educational space through exhibitions and holding meetings related to street photography. This event provided an opportunity for those interested in photography and social and urban issues to come together and see the works of Farshid Ashkar, Roya Etemadi, Elahe Ansari, Majid Bazaei, Linda Bordbar, Ali Pak Fetrat, Shiva Jamshidi, Masoud Hosseini, Mohammad Khani, Seyed Ali Zare, Hamidreza Zamanian, Abbas Seyyedizadeh, Rahil Shibani, Hanieh Saremi, Seyed Sadegh Alavi, Hamid Qajarpour Nobandegani, Mahsa Mehrabi, Mahnaz Nourizadeh, and Ebtisam Vahabipour.

This exhibition was from 5 to 10 Jan 2024 at Sarvenaz Gallery in Shiraz. This exhibition ended with a meeting with experienced and well-known photographers such as Sajjad Avarand, Alireza Isavi, Amin Daneshvar, and Mehdi Yazdani. In this meeting, the photographers discussed the exhibition and street photography in Shiraz.
